Harmonix has announced that Van Halen will appear in the Rock Band series for the first time when Rock Band 4 launches. The first track that will come from the band’s back catalogue is Panama at launch, with more to be available through the Rock Band Music Store afterwards. Those songs will likely be things like Jump, Runnin’ With The Devil, and Hot For Teacher, though it wouldn’t be surprising to see most of Van Halen’s most popular music to be available. After all, they had a whole Guitar Hero game dedicated to them, way back when.
Other confirmed acts for Rock Band 4 includes The Who, Foo Fighters, Elvis Presley, Aerosmith, Fall Out Boy, Black Keys and Queens Of The Stone Age. Rock Band 4 will be releasing for PS4 & Xbox One on October 6th.
