Details About Michael Fassbender’s Assassin’s Creed Movie Character Released

The first details about Michael Fassbender’s character from the Assassin’s Creed movie have been confirmed, including a first look at what he’ll look like. ACMichael

I’m quite liking the look as it really does capture that Assassin look. For those of you expecting a movie based on one of the games then you may be surprised. The Assassin’s Creed movie will star a new Assassin called Aquilar, whose stalking grounds were 15th century Spain. The movie will be split between that time and the modern day as Aquilar’s descendant, Callum Lynch, learns of his heritage and the skills required to take on the Templars.

There’s no details on what else the story will contain or who Marion Cotillard will be playing in the film either. My bet is a Templar, though I’m probably wrong.

  2. Whilst i don’t judge films on outfits, this is a good indicator of the direction it is heading in but will it be a yearly series of films that slowly get milked to death to the point where 3 are launched within one year? If not, then it will never be as good as the franchise.

  3. The fact that they are not replicating one of the games is good. Every movie that tried that failed. Just let them go with their own ideas. Then when you have the audiences hooked then throw them a character from the games and build it up.
The fact is: since 2010 I cannot remember a single good Indiana Jones style movie. When I grew up that type of movies for me were The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, those were my Indiana Jones movies. Now if they can make Fassbender deliver a similar feel I can see people getting hooked.

  4. Incoming AC game sharing the same story arc of the film?
