Halo 5: Guardians is releasing is releasing October 27th on Xbox One, and to get people in the mood Microsoft has released the opening cinematic for the game. As you might expect the three minutes of footage is full of action which includes a sequence of sliding down a snowy mountain, and getting involved in a gun battle with the Convenant.
It is all pretty impressive and the large scale battle looks great. Of course if you want to go into Halo 5: Guardians without anything spoiled then you will want to avoid the footage. There aren’t huge spoilers but story elements are present.
