Halo 5’s Warzone Firefight Mode Will Release On June 29th

Halo 5: Guardians is set to get its biggest free update yet in the form of the Warzone Firefight, and to mark this release there will be a free trial where all Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download the full game from June 29th until July 5th. If you’re interested in purchasing during this period you’ll be able to get Halo 5 for half price through the Xbox store.

The things that will be added to Halo 5 with this update include:

  • Warzone Firefight mode where each round will get tougher, with new bosses and vehicles added to the mix.
  • Score Attack being added to the campaign with leaderboards to show who is the better player in missions.
  • Three new maps in the form of Attack on Sanctum, Prospect and Molten.
  • Ocean themed Tidal canvas for Forge mode.
  • Additional REQ items including Cinder and Cyclops armour sets.

  1. One of those bosses is a Grunt Mecha! I hope it’ll show up in regular warzone as well.

    • I just know the Grunt Mech will be hilarious, it would be good if it’s a boss in normal Warzone, maybe on the new maps as a change up from the usual Warden Eternal.
