The Rugby World Cup is in full swing, and I’m trying to watch every match I can! As the group stages cross the halfway point, every game and every bonus point is suddenly becoming a lot more important. Last weekend also saw the highly popular EGX taking place, and so it’s understandable that there’s lots of new stuff on TSA, and hopefully something for everyone.
So, with a lot of content to get through, let’s begin this week’s Community Round-Up!
Looking at the Meets, chances are that Monday will see the usual Project CARS meet, with the odd Rocket League or GTA V Meet thrown in elsewhere.
If you’d rather play something else, you can add your own Meet to the list, provided you have more than 250 TSA Points.

Let’s start with the reviews, and this week everything was given an 8/10! Aran calls NBA 2K16 a “solid game that has great gameplay, and fantastic presentation”, while Etrian Mystery Dungeon, a mash-up between Mystery Dungeon and Etrian Odyssey, is enjoyable for fans of both franchises according to Dom.
The Toys to Life genre has continued to grow, and LEGO has decided to get in on the action with LEGO Dimensions. If you can stomach the price, Stefan says there’s a wealth of fun to be had here, and the Toy Pad mechanics add a new level to the genre. Lastly, and sticking with the Toys to Life genre, Jim had a look at the latest Skylanders game, calling SuperChargers “a genuine step in a new direction”.
Stefan had a look at the Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection, and also brought us an update on his latest experience with PlayStation VR. Meanwhile Dave has been busy, first going hands on with Cuphead, a cartoon-style game for Xbox One, and Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water.
He also had a look at the exciting Rise Of The Tomb Raider, which is finally heading back to its roots of raiding tombs, as Dom had a look at The Legend Of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes for 3DS. Elsewhere, Dom also had a look at the highly anticipated The Division, where he and his team mates battled their way to the extraction zone.
The staff have been sharing some of their highlights from EGX for Indie Focus, with Part 1 containing Unbox, Aaero & Giant Cop. You can also see the staff band ‘rocking out‘ to Paramore’s Ingnorance at EGX, and they are rumoured to be currently in talks about headlining Glastonbury next year!
We’ve been talking a lot about the Toys to Life genre this week, and it was only right for it to be the topic of the Open Forum, where we asked if they will continue to sustain the tremendous growth they’ve seen so far? Aran also asked one very important question: which is better out of FIFA 16 or PES 2016?
In the Chronicle, Hot Topics discussed Vita’s no-go successor, and the leaked Tomb Raider video. Finishing off, the Podcast was replaced by an EXG Special from a pub, and What We Played #223 included Bloodbowl, Metal Gear and Destiny.

Before we finish, there’s time for a quick check on the Forums:
- Sitorimon is trying to find out the Top 20 PS2 games, and wants your votes
- The FIFA 16 discussion thread is getting a lot of attention
- And so is the Metal Gear Solid V thread, as more people near the end
Well, that’s all for this week. Have a good week and I’ll be back next time, bye!
