Ubisoft have revealed the Ubisoft Club, a new initiative that is linked to your u-Play account. It is completely free and accessible on any platform on any game.

As you play you will earn XP which is then translated in to badges, extra content, discounts and access to betas. If you do sign up an u-Play achievements you have will be automatically added to your Club profile.

I’ve just linked my account and I’ve got a tonne of free goodies to unlock across the various Ubisoft games I have played, so it looks like a good deal to me.

  1. Free stuff is never a bad thing!
Are there many TSA-ers on UPlay?

    • I’m on U-play and had loads of freebies from it.
Anything that adds free content etc is welcome.

      • What freebies exactly?

      • The stuff you unlock is just Uplay rewards at the moment, like extra skins, weapons etc.
        Unless I’m missing something?

    • Yeah, I’ve linked up all my Ubisoft games to U-play. Unlocked loads of stuff. Perks, outfits, weapons, art galleries, etc.. Seem to have way more points than I can actually spend though! Will give this a bash later. Ubisoft games make up a lot of what I buy, both big franchises and smaller PSN games. Probs my fave publisher tbh. Roll on Friday and Assassin’s Creed Cockney Edition!

      • Is it for select games or multiple?

      • Its for all Ubisoft games.

      • Thanks. Just got more lums for Rayman Legends and also unlocked a new mission for Far Cry 3.

  2. I linked all my games to uplay but didnt realise you could earn/spend points until recently. I have thousands of unspent points to spend, woo!

  3. I’ve logged in but there’s nothing different from Uplay, there are no new rewards and such. I’m against this kind of thing really, games get broken up enough already what with pre-order DLC, exclusive season pass DLC, “normal” DLC….and now this. It’ll just be an excuse to cut more things from the main game.

    • But this is free. It’s play to earn, and as a lot of the uplay challenges are the same as trophies, it makes getting trophies actually worthwhile!

      • I see what you’re saying – it’s not like we have to pay to get these at least.

    • Agreed. I really don’t see the point of this except to be better illustrate the features of UPlay. I was rather hoping it’d be like EA Access, but no such luck. Ubi screwed around with my account on PC enough, then on PS3, I can’t honestly be bothered with this.
