It might still be pegged for mid-November on PC – the press release simply says that its time in Early Access will end “in a few days” – but Mordheim: City of the Damned looks like it could be a rather intriguing adaption of yet another one of Games Workshop’s tabletop games.
The game is founded on a bedrock of procedurally generated missions to play, but the latest trailer for the game showcases the four separate campaigns that you’ll be able to embark on in the tactical RPG, with one for each of the four warbands included in the game. The Human Mercenaries, the Skaven from Clan Eshin, the Sisters of Sigmar and the Cult of the Possessed all have an independent story to explore and progress through, with each featuring their own unique heroes to lead into the fray.
