Podcast: Episode 201 – Broken Age, Black Ops III & HTC Vive

In our never ending quest to bring you every possible combination of podcasts regulars and guests, Kev returned for this week’s podcast after his adventure in Japan, while Lewis had to step away for a week. With episode 200 behind us, it felt only right that we start our next hundred podcast with our most frequent guest, Teflon.

As always, Tef brought some great stuff with him, talking about his experiences with both Call of Duty: Black Ops III and the HTC Vive VR system. From there we moved onto Kev, who told us about both his time in Japan and his time playing the Vita version of Broken Age on the fligh to Japan.

Filling things out was a look at the week’s news and the answers to your questions, as well as announcing the winner of last week’s movie give away.

  1. I watch anime with subs most of the time, but I can understand watching anime with english dub at work. Because I watch the anime on a third screen, while working on the other two and well subtitles does not work too well in that setup. But definitely: anime should be looked with subtitles. That is the correct way of doing things.

Have Konami confirmed where did Kojima go on his holidays? I heard his LA crew also went on holidays recently ^^.

Nothing to say more about the news this time ;(

I still have to play MW3 before I even start the Black Ops series. I liked MW1 and MW2. They are great blockbuster action game without anything beyond that and I accept that as this is what I want them to be. Too bad the stories behind Black Ops 2 and 3 are not on the same level as in the previous parts as that is what is important for me then.
Kris you should play the Modern Warfare series as they are really good. Tons of awesome moments to chill out to.

A restaurant named “Hermanos”?! Are you sure it was not “Germanos”?! :P

I also finished Broken Age recently and I enjoyed it very much. The graphics were great, the story funny and interesting. Voice acting top notch. Laughed a few times to tears. Really good. I recommend it very much and also listen to the soundtrack – it’s on Spotify and it’s beautiful.

    VR. Meh.

I hope it’s not due to making over 200 episodes that you guys were so sleepy this time :P
