Gravity Rush Remastered’s Release Date Brought Forward To February 2nd 2016

Sony has confirmed via Twitter that the release date for Gravity Rush Remastered has been moved forward a week, and will release on February 2nd 2016 instead of February 10th 2016. The date will be the same in both Europe and the Americas.

Gravity Rush Remastered was announced a couple months ago alongside Gravity Rush 2, which will be a PS4 exclusive. The latter is scheduled to release in 2016.

  1. Is this to give a big enough gap between Street fighter 5?

  2. how will this work without gyroscope thingys?

    • DS4 has gyro thingys?

      • Not like the Vita does.

Unlike on the handheld, the TV screen won’t turn with your controller, motion controls actually work on the Vita because of that simple difference.

      • Surely that’s an improvement? The Vita version was lots of fun, but kind of ruined by the motion controls. Neat idea, but you soon realised it wasn’t that practical for more than 5 minutes.

      • It was pretty cool for traversing the city. You could snap into first person mode and then fly across the city moving the vita to see the landscape. It wasn’t too bad in combat, it had a bit of an uncharted thing where you could move the camera with the analog stick and then make small corrections with the motion control. It’s a shame if they drop that aspect in GR2. Motion control a flying superhero in first person on a 42 inch television and you’d soon be impressed.

  3. Looking forward to this, even though it’s something I already played on Vita!
It’s a gorgeous game and I’m glad the series gets a second chance on PS4.
