Last night’s The Game Awards were a celebration of all the great games that we’ve seen released over the past year, but 2015 will also be remembered for the passing of the late Satoru Iwata on July 11th, a man who led Nintendo for over a decade and had come to embody the company and its spirit. It was only fitting that time was taken from the awards and devoted to the memory of the man, with Reggie Fils-Aimé taking to the stage to give a touching tribute to his friend.
