Sony Santa Monica teased Bound before the PlayStation Experience and now the full game has been revealed.
“Bound is a 3D platformer designed for people with the desire to concentrate on the narrative side of games and experience a mature story,” explains Michal Staniszewski, Game Director at Plastic. “On the other side of the spectrum, Bound is also being prepared for hardcore gamers looking for the challenge of one big puzzle that can be only solved by a community of players working together.”
“The result: we are going to deliver a ‘notgame’ to you, which is also a game. It’s up to you to decide how you would like to play,” he adds, rather confusingly.
The art style takes inspirations from Suprematism, Concretism, Neoplasticism, and Bauhaus, the main character is a motion capture ballerina, and the soundtrack is ballet and electroacoustic.
Electroacoustic narrative prodecural ballet platformers. Whatever will the think of next, VR simulations of cheating exams at Dolphin school? Oh wait…

I’m liking the procedurally generated art style, i might just pick it up for that alone.
