TSA Community Game of the Year 2015 – Vote Now!

One thing that we always love to see on TSA is the community chipping in on news posts, features and reviews with your own thoughts and feelings on a given matter. It could be something dull like a pre-announcement of an announcement teaser trailer, or something really exciting like and announcement teaser trailer, but you’re rarely afraid to wade in.

It’s been clear over the last week that seeing how the team of TSA writers and contributors have voted in some of our Game of the Year awards has got you thinking about which games, soundtracks, characters and more have stood out for you in the last year. So now it’s your turn. We want you to vote in the same categories that we did and give us your collective verdict on what the best game of 2015 was.

The voting will be open from now until the end of the Christmas and Boxing Day bank holiday weekend, so please have your form submitted by 23:59PM on Monday 28th December. You don’t have to vote in every category, so feel free to leave some unpicked, and please note that we’ve generally excluded remakes, re-releases and remasters from consideration – outside of the Best Remaster category!

Please only vote once, as subsequent votes will not be counted.

  1. No Until Dawn in the game of the year category? Really?

    • An oversight I’ve now fixed.

Along with adding soundtracks mentioned below.

      • Why u no include Undertale for soundtrack, art, and character design i think sans is the best character

  2. Rocket League game of the year, closely followed by Fallout 4 for me.

  3. For best soundtrack I think I THINK…you are missing hotline miami 2 as a nominee :P

  4. Left most of them blank as I haven’t bought many new games this year. Voted Xenoblade Chronicles X as game and rpg of the year. Voted Splatoon and Yoshi’s Woolly World in a few other ones.

  5. I doubt it will get many votes with this being a Playstation site, and with it being bundled with sports games like Rocket League, but Forza 6 has easily been the best racing game of 2015 closely followed by DiRT Rally. Absolutely outstanding work by Turn 10, they’ve set the bar incredibly high for future console racing games, as have Codemasters with DiRT Rally.

Hesitantly gave Battlefront best multiplayer. It could have been more, but it’s an outstanding achievement to create such an accessible multiplayer game, and one with incredible sound and graphics.

    • I agree Forza 6 wins in best sports/racing.

Rocket League is great, but it’s basically just a polished version of SARPBC with a dull selection of stages. It’s a bit of a one-trick pony. Meanwhile, Forza 6 provides a large amount of new and exciting content alongside the additional spit and polish over 5.

I gave Witcher 3 GOTY though, because that game just consumed me.

      • Oh, and Splatoon as best multiplayer. It’s just so fresh.

  6. Life Is Strange, Rocket League and Battlefront dominating my choices here.

Some great games have been released this year.

  7. Yeah, pretty strange that Until Dawn didn’t make the cut in GOTY!?!

    • Yup, sorted. If you want to do your entry again and vote for it, I can remove your first entry?

      • Yeeessss please. That game was my personal GOTY.

  8. Has to be Just Cause 3 for me, 400 square miles of unadulterated bliss, taking Rico to new heights whilst awakening the behemoth sleeping beastie console at last! :P

Thoroughly loving the Nathan Drake Collection also, with a dusting of Vice City chucked in ;)

  9. Done =D

    • What did you go for in the last one Del? You get through more games than anyone I know ;)

      My top 3 are probably:

      1. Rocket League
      2. Until Dawn
      3. The Order 1886

Special mention to MGS5! Did win for me in any of the categories, but still a great all-round game.

  10. Life is Strange and Tearaway Unfolded were my only multi-picks!
