Sony Stepping In To Help With Vita Version Of The Banner Saga

The Banner Saga was announced for PS4, Xbox One, and Vita around a year ago, and last week Versus Evil confirmed it would launch on the new home consoles in January 2016. A Vita release date was not given though, which led to speculation that development wasn’t going as well. Now Gio Corsi, Sony’s Director of Third Party Production & Developer Relations, has tweeted to state Sony is stepping in to help with The Banner Saga’s Vita development.

There’s no release window for when The Banner Saga on Vita will release, though we’ll get more news on that in 2016.

  1. Excellent news.

I just wish Sony would actually support the Vita properly, instead of giving up on it completely. Maybe supporting it could be their new year resolution?

  2. HOLY DRAKE! Spank the bottle and call it a box!

Yeah, i don’t know what that means either. And no, i ain’t drunk. Just full of christmas silliness.

A game for the Vita and it is being supported(kinda) by sony? Tis truely a christmas surprise! Or they paid for it and are getting involved to protect their investment. I think i’ve heard of the banner saga and it is said to be excellent but if i ever get it, it would be on PC. Just feels like i should get it on that platform.

  3. Just wanted to say what beautiful art design and terrific soundtrack this game has. A rare gem.
