Prolific PlayStation publisher Curve Digital have been snapped up by The Catalis Group, who also own Kuju Entertainment. If that name doesn’t ring a bell, Kuju includes Zoe Mode (Zumba, EyeToy) and Headstrong Games (House of the Dead: Overkill, Art Academy, Top Gun Hardlock).
The companies will be merged in to one, Curve Digital Entertainment, which will be headed by Dominic Wheatley, a name some of you oldies may recognise as the founding father of Tomb Raiding British developer, Eidos.
“Our acquisition of Curve Digital and merging them with Kuju means we have created the potential for a major new British games publisher, the first of its kind for many years,” said Wheatley. “It’s also good news for the UK indie games community to have a professional publishing partner who can take their titles to the international market.”
