Hot on the heels of our last shout out to check your emails, we have another one, as Sony have been sending out 10% discount codes for the EU PlayStation Store. It’s all intended to give a little boost to the last few days of the January sale, with the code seemingly only valid for already discounted items.
However, there are a few further caveats. Firstly, not everybody seems to be getting these emails, and while I know of several people who have received them, the majority of the TSA writers have not. It could be that these emails are going out in waves, but the discount codes included are only valid until Sunday 17th January at 23:59PM.
But if you’ve been on the fence about one or two possible purchases, it won’t hurt to have a quick peek in your spam box…

Whenever I look at the PlayStation EU blog it appears that Eastern Europeans and Scandinavians find these deals worthwhile.
I always seem to be better off going to my local independent game shop though, or the local ‘Cash for gold’ exploiting the poor emporium.

Son of a witch! Why is it, that whenever a sale occurs or a discount code is sent out, i have neither the means or cash to take advantage of it?
However, this is PSN so what 10% is useful for is the indie stuff. Not the fully fledge triple AAA games that you can buy for less then what i spend on my food every week. (£20/£30)

I had one of these earlier and had £30 PSN vouchers so treated myself to MKX which I’ve been umming and ah-ing about… The 10% just made it worthwhile :-)

I had one but hadn’t bought anything in the sale so far whereas my brother had bought a couple of things but didn’t get a code… Only thing I can think of.

Nah I’ve not bought anything and didn’t get one. Neither did my brother. Or sister. But she doesn’t own a PlayStation.
