Feral Interactive, who are were handling the Mac and Linux versions of Batman: Arkham Knight for Warner Bros. have announced that they have been cancelled.
We are very sorry to confirm that Batman: Arkham Knight will no longer be coming to Mac and Linux. If you have pre-ordered Batman: Arkham Knight for Mac or Linux, please apply for a refund via Steam.
It’s not surprising news considering the PC version was so bad it was pulled from sale. Of course it does stop the game from appearing on Steam Machines (remember them?), which run a version of Linux.

Never finished this. Had a bastard battle with a tank that took about 20 goes to beat, then soon after I was repeatedly dying while being chased in some tunnels, so just got fed up and never came back to it. Was enjoying it up until that point too.

Hmm, which tank was that then? The Cloudburst one?
I ask as I am still playing through it (to clear the 65-70GB that beast takes up) & am not much further than that myself, so if it is that then I have a chase in some tunnels to look forward to apparently! ;)
That said though, if it is the cloudburst tank you refer to, it’s a bit of a shame that you gave up as that’s actually pretty close to the end of the main story. About 75-80% through I think.

Either they realised that releasing a bad port is a bad idea in general or they looked at the sales and went “scrap it, it’s not worth the cost”.
I believe it’s the latter and well, Warner Bros games on PC are to be avoided. On MAC? It’ll probably set it on fire, burn down your house, shoot your dog, shoot your cat, steal your tea, pee in your coffee, slap you, burn you with words, sleep with your mother, sleep with your sister, sleep with your girlfriend, call you a nasty word and nuke you from orbit. Or it’ll be even worse then the PC version if it had not been cancelled.

Wow if the Mac or Linux version does that than its just as well they are cancelling it. It’s just as well though if the pc version was that bad.
