Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition Now Available On Windows

Although it was confirmed last year that Gears of War: Ultimate Edition would launch on PC, Microsoft didn’t hint at when the remastered shooter would be available through its Windows store front.

Well, that wait is now over. For £22.49 you can bag yourself a PC version of the popular port, multiplayer modes and all. It’s worth mentioning that Ultimate Edition features 4K support though you might want to spruce up your current gaming rig. For more information take a quick look at the specs below:

  1. It might be worth adding that Windows 10 is also a required specification.

  2. Hmm, windows store only? No thanks..

Apparently, it runs pretty badly too, a dx9 game forced into dx12, just to lick it into Windows 10.

Just like Quantum break, the only reason these are being released on PC is as an incentive to get people onto Windows10.. If MS actually cared about selling games on PC, they would release it on Steam as well.
