Watch The New Gameplay Trailer For Membrain, A Game By Blair

Remember there used to be this Scottish guy who wrote for TheSixthAxis a little while back? Sure you do, he was even the Editor for a bit! Well, if you think back, you might remember that he left to start making videogames of his own, founding Mystic Penguin with a friend and getting to work on a game called Membrain.

They’ve been hard at work since they first talked about the game publicly, back in September, and now they have a new gameplay trailer to show off all of Membrain’s first and third person, level designing puzzle platforming.

If you like the look of it, make sure to help them get bathed in green light and actually go and votefor the game on Steam Greenlight, as well as follow them on Twitter @MysticPenguin_.

  1. It’s looking good Blair, it’s god that Portal vibe but the look is quite unique, a bit retro even. I’ve voted on Steam and I’ll definitely buy it. It’d be great to hear about the whole process of setting up your company, getting people to contribute and getting the game made. Kris, give him a podcast special!!

  2. That looks good Blair, nice clean neon visuals and hints of Portal in the puzzle-platforming. Is that some of TC’s soundtrack for the game? It has a good retro flavour, reminds me of game soundtracks back on the Amiga.

    • Yes there’s a couple of retro-ish tunes, one is very 8 bit.
