One of the more hotly anticipated Japanese RPGs, there’s a little tiny snippet of news for Persona 5, which will be both exciting and despair inducing for fans of the series. The game is coming out on PS3 and PS4 on September 15th in Japan… but there’s no news on a Western release date and how long the localisation efforts will take.
So unless you’re Japanese or are fluent in the language, there could be quite a long wait on the cards. It’s also the 20th anniversary of the series, so Atlus are producing a special edition of the game which will feature a copy for PS4, some bonus DLC, an art book and a 5 disc sountrack with music from across the series as a whole.
And to round it out, there’s a new Japanese trailer for the game’s twin life shenanigans:

It looks so incredible!
I hope for an English localisation by the end of the year, given it was delayed from last year. But I fear it won’t see western shores for quite some time…
