Star Wars Battlefront’s Outer Rim Content Will Have Free Trial This Weekend

EA has announced that the recent paid DLC for Star Wars Battlefront, Outer Rim, will have a free trial from May 13th until May 15th. All players will be able to access the maps, modes, and heroes that are part of the Outer Rim DLC during that time. Players will be able to access the free Hutt Contracts but weapons and Star Cards that are part of the DLC will not be accessible to those using the free trial.

Outer Rim contains four maps with Jabba’s Palace and the Palace Garage on Tatooine, and SoroSuub Refinery and Pipelines on Sullust. There is also the new mode of Extraction where Rebels are trying to extract valuable resources, while the forces of the Empire are tasked with stopping them. The Outer Rim free trial will be accessible on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
