A Shadow Falls, Street Fighter V’s Story Mode Expansion Launches Tomorrow

Earlier this week Capcom announced that the long awaited cinematic story mode expansion for Street Fighter V – entitled “A Shadow Falls” – was finally going to hit our games this Friday, July 1, and today they’ve unveiled a launch trailer for said expansion.

The update is planned to go live at 08.00 BST / 09.00 CET and is said to include a ton of new content. Alongside the highly-anticipated story mode update two characters are joining the roster: Ibuki and Balrog.

The new story mode will be available to all players as free content, and all released post-launch characters can be purchased using in-game earned Fight Money or real currency (DLC).

  1. Should have really been in from the start. Single player for fighting games helps the filthy casuals git gud (or slightly better). Hopefully it continues to improve and get more content maybe then will it be worth buying.

    • Yup what he said. Should have been right at the start aswell as the money shop when it was locked on the disc!
Sold the game within a month from launch due to lack of content and no Offline/Story Arcade mode.
