The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition Announced

It’s been just over a year since The Elder Scrolls arrived on consoles and over two years since its first release on PC. With that in mind, Bethesda are taking on a number of initiatives to bring new blood into the game and make it more accessible than ever.

Alongside some major changes to how the game treats players of different levels, with the upcoming One Tamriel update, there’s now a Gold Edition of the MMO coming out on September 9th.

This will include the main game, the first four DLC game packs – Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood, but not Shadows of the Hist which is out on August 1st – and a Palamino horse mount.

  1. Erm…. i dislike the wording. Just me being very nitpicky but “It’s just been over a year since the arrival on consoles and 2 since on PC” kinda makes it sound like the franchise is fresh. I am being nitpicky and well, a huge fan of TES. Kinda makes the part of my brain that obesses with tiny details like these.

I now know what to do when i get a system, broadband and funding to play TESO. First person to refer to it as TESCO will be punched through their screen. Yeah, I have the ability to do that. It’s a long story involving a ring, several dragons and me padding out a comment in a bid to be funny but failing and somehow is tolerated around here and may just be a bit bored at the moment but neveryoumindaboutthat.
