The Global Cover Vote for FIFA 17 allowed football fans to choose the cover star for the next instalment for the franchise, with the options being Marco Reus, Eden Hazard, James Rodriguez, and Anthony Martial. Well the votes have been counted and it is Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus that wins the place on the box. Marco Reus has had a very decent playing career, having won multiple awards like being in the Bundesliga Team Of The Season four times, and Footballer Of The Year In Germany in 2013.
Reus missed out on playing for Germany in the 2014 World Cup due to an ankle injury, therefore not being part of the winning squad. He hasn’t had much luck on the international stage recently having not made the German national team for Euro 2016 either due to an illness. Since signing for Borussia Dortmund Reus has scored 49 goals in 108 matches.

Thank goodness for that, I was worried that it might have been Martial. I was talking with my wife about it last night and we both agreed that “who gives a toot!!!”
