Look Behind The Scenes In Robinson: The Journey’s First Dev Diary

Robinson: The Journey is easily one of the more ambitious games coming to PlayStation VR, not just graphically – though Crytek seem to be doing quite amazing things with the hardware at their disposal – but as a fairly free roaming first person VR game, full of dinosaurs, exploration and intrigue.

The free roaming in particular is quite tricky, as first person VR can often lead to nausea if it’s handled badly, and this first dev diary touches upon how you have a very sedate pace, which should help to lessen that possibility. Aside from that, it’s an interesting glimpse at the different challenges and possibilities that developers face when making games for VR.
