Evolve recently switched to a free to play model on PC to help regain a large player base, and on the platform various things are being tested before the game becomes free on console. One of these beta tests is centred around a new mode called The Deepest Dark where players work together to hunt an AI monster, and destroy its eggs. This mode will be available alongside the standard 4 v 1 mode.
