Akiba’s Beat is expected to launch later this year for PS4 and Vita, with the focus being on characters who get trapped reliving the same day over and over. Unlike most people these characters realise they’re caught in a loop, a bit like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day. One of these characters is the protagonist Ashai who along with others must scour Akihabara for delusions and destroy them.
The trailer shows some character interactions and the battle system in action, with various monsters to tackle depending on the delusion you take on.
