Enter the Gungeon was already a pretty silly game. A roguelike adventure filled with anthropomorphic bullets and all manner of ridiculous guns, I really enjoyed it when it released earlier this year. There’s a free update coming that’s going to make things even better and even more ridiculous, though.
The Supply Drop Update will come to PC in the fall and PS4 soon after, adding 100 new rooms to the procedural generation pool, new weapons and enemies. There’s also new pasts and stories to reveal for Robot and Bullet, but honestly, none of this really matters, because Dodge Roll Games are adding a gun shaped like a bullet that shoots guns that shoot bullets.
Yes, it’s basically parodying itself, but as far as I’m concerned, that sounds brilliant.
