Run Hedgehog, run!!!

Well that was an exciting week wasn’t it? Yay! Look at all enthusiasm I have for an new iPhone and the PlayStation NeedsAnExpensiveTelly. Wooo! Yay! Go terraflops! Oh. alright, it was pretty dull wasn’t it? I’m keeping Mark Cerny’s PlayStation Meeting presentation on my phone so his dulcet tones can lull me in to blissful sleep each evening.

Let’s ease ourselves in to this weeks Snatch with a beautiful trailer, this is Seasons after Fall which has launched on Steam. It is a hand-drawn puzzle-adventure game in which you play as a wild fox who has the ability to change the seasons at will.

Readers of a certain age (e.g. old farts like myself) will watch the trailer think just one thing: It’s The Animals of Farthing Wood.

Brace for a cute overload! This cut scene from World of Final Fantasy shows chibi anime Squall and it beyond adorbs.

A word guaranteed to make me lose interest in a game: Roguelike. Everything is Roguelike these days. Here is the Roguelike Tumbleseed which is coming to PS4.

Farming Simulator 17 gameplay here, this time showing how you can look after livestock.

And Finally, I mentioned it earlier so here are some scenes from The Animals of Farthing Wood. It was brutal, if you thought Game of Thrones had a high body count it has nothing on this children’s show from the 90’s. I still have nightmares.

I never noticed at the time just how brutal The Animals of Farthing Wood was. Children’s TV has really lost its teeth these days.
