Titanfall 2 Will Not Have A Season Pass, All Modes And Maps To Be Free

Titanfall 2 will be released tomorrow and its review scores are pointing to a very well done game by Respawn. Now Respawn has confirmed the way post launch content will be handled, confirming that there will be no season pass for the the first person shooter. In fact all extra maps and modes will be added to the game for free, with Angel City being the first map to be available.

No Season Pass required: all maps & modes will be free in Titanfall 2 Multiplayer. This means no splitting up the community and it all starts with the legendary Angel City map, remastered from the original Titanfall. This means once you’ve purchased Titanfall 2, your investment includes a full single player campaign, the full multiplayer maps and modes, and long-term support with no hidden costs.

Of course there could still be some paid DLC to support the development of the free content, which may be cosmetic items for pilots, titans, and weapons.

  1. Ok Respawn, you have a customer in me.

    • I was teetering on a purchase having read a substantial chunk of good press but this news has pushed me over the edge too.

  2. Not that the mp is relevant for me but i commend this attitude.
