Lethal VR Brings FBI Training To HTC Vive Today, PSVR This Year

Think you’ve got what it takes to be an FBI agent? Well step this way and enter Lethal VR, arriving on HTC Vive today and coming to PSVR before the year is out. It’s a game from the minds behind Burnout and Dangerous Golf at Three Fields Entertainment, and if that doesn’t tell you what to expect in terms of realism, I don’t think anything will.

With those throwing stars, this might be more of a ninja training sim than an FBI one, but then the rigours of modern law enforcement are pretty high these days. You’ve got 30 weapon-based simulations to beat, with local leaderboards to test yourself against friends and family.

It’s been built from the ground up for HTC Vive’s room scale VR, but as mentioned above, it’s planned for PSVR release as well. It’ll definitely be interesting to see how it translates.

I'm probably wearing toe shoes, and there's nothing you can do to stop me!

  1. There’s only so many “light gun” we can have in VR and I think we’re close to saturation already. Enough with the shooting galleries.

  2. It looks very repetitive to me, I would get bored of it pretty quickly.

  3. Hmm, H3VR already does something very similar to this, plus loads more.. Think its a skip.
