Devolver Digital’s portfolio is as weird at times as it is wide, but Absolver looks and sounds quite fantastic from practically every perspective. Announced back in May for PC, it appeared at PSX with a new trailer to reveal the PS4 version of the game. It’s “coming first” to PS4 – though we’d assume this is merely timed console exclusivity – and with have exclusive content.
It’s a game that’s all about melee combat, but there’s both PvE and a PvP side to this as you take on the mask of a Prospect and try to join the ranks of the elite Absolvers that lend the game its name.
