Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Revealed At PSX [Updated]

What a way to kick off PlayStation Experience 2016! Uncharted: The Lost Legacy opened the show with a brief look at this standalone chapter in the treasure hunting series.

If you didn’t guess immediately from the footage (we did by the way, clever us!) that’s fan favourite Chloe hiding her face from view.

We don’t know why she’s there or what she’s after. What’s even more curious is why she’s teamed up with Nadine, one of Uncharted 4’s main antagonists, or how it fits in and around other events from the series.

Update 2: Uncharted: Lost Legacy is to be made available as a standalone physical and digital release, but it’s also the single player content promised as part of the Uncharted 4 ‘Explorer’s Pack’ season pass.

You will get the download at launch if you have that, whether bought separately or as part of the Digital Deluxe Edition. However, you only have until December 13th to pick up either of these – the Explorer’s Pack is currently £19.99 – in what we assume it a similar to Dying Light and Fallout 4’s expansive season passes getting price hikes once the developers announced how big they were going to be. Fair’s fair, you have your warning.

When we began to plot out the story and our vision for the game, we realized we were building something more than an extension of Uncharted 4, and instead, a standalone story in the Uncharted universe. We wanted this adventure to feature all of the hallmarks of the series, from cinematic storytelling set within exotic destinations, to dynamic combat and intricate puzzles. It’s our biggest story expansion to-date and will be available as a standalone game on store shelves and for digital download.

Update:
Here is the official blurb.

From the critically acclaimed developer, Naughty Dog, comes the first standalone adventure in Uncharted franchise history led by fan-favorite character, Chloe Frazer.

In order to recover a fabled ancient Indian artifact and keep it out of the hands of a ruthless war profiteer, Chloe Frazer must enlist the aid of renowned mercenary Nadine Ross (from Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End). Together, they’ll venture deep into the mountains of India in search of the legendary artifact. Along the way, they’ll learn to work together to unearth the mystery of the artifact, fight their way through fierce opposition, and prevent the region from falling into chaos.

  1. Bollocks, I hate Nadine. Most wrongly developed and presented character in the series.

    • We required this escapade to characteristic every one of the trademark of the sequence, as of cinematic storytelling put inside foreign purpose, to Assignment writing service for marketing self-motivated battle and complicated mystery.

  2. Darn, i missed the livestream due to the commute home and the video above has been removed. I’ll have a look on the tube later for it.

  3. Yes! Chloe was such an awesome character In UC2/UC3. So glad to have her back.

  4. Stunning and what a surprise…

  5. I’m usually not that good at guessing games, but I was actually thinking about Uncharted right from the start of the trailer, probably because of the camera handling.
And when I saw her eyes, I was immediately going ‘Chloe..!’

Great to have her back, she was one of the outstanding characters in the series.

  6. This is intense! I can’t wait for more info
