Rockstar has added a new adversary mode to Grand Theft Auto Online in the form of Vehicle Vendetta, which allows your crew to go head to head against another crew with the aim of destroying each others’ rides. The battle arena contains power ups that can help get an advantage. These pick ups include Beast, which turns you into a Rhino tank, Flipped which reverse controls for opposing players, and Zoned which slows down time for everyone. The other power ups are listed below. Vehicle Vendetaa also has double GTA$ & RP running until January 17th.
- Detonator: Removes obstacles and objects from the arena.
- Bomb: Place up to three bombs around the map to destroy trailing enemies.
- Rockets: Fire rockets at oncoming drivers to incapacitate them.
- Repair: Returns vehicle back to max health.
- Ghost: Become translucent, allowing you to drive through enemy vehicles to steal their power-ups.
- Jammed: Forces the accelerator on for the enemy team’s vehicles.
- Deadline: Automatically switches you onto the Nagasaki Shotaro complete with devastating light trail.
- Random: Chance to collect any power-up except Detonator.
Along with Vehicle Vendetta a new bike has been made available and that is the Pegassi FCR 1000 which will have a lot of customisable options. On top of that there are discounts available for various items with prices being cut by 25%, and Stunt Races are also paying out double GTA$ & RP until January 16th.
