A Number Of Nintendo Switch Accessories Confirmed And Leaked

In around two months time Nintendo is set to release its next console the Switch, a hybrid that will allow both portable and home console gaming. Whenever a new console is released third parties are quick to jump on the accessory side of things, and it doesn’t look any different for the Switch. Over the last couple of days there have been leaks from Hori and confirmation from Hyperkin in relation to the kind of things people could be buying for Nintendo’s console.

The Hori leak comes via Twitter user DroidXAce and while the images haven’t been verified they fall in line with the confirmed accessories from Hyperkin, namely screen protectors and carry cases. Hori differs by having a fight stick though we don’t know what game that could be for, but Super Smash Bros is the likely contender. Hori also has console skins with a Breath Of The Wild one shown in the documents, which could be available at the same time as the game if not before its release.

We’ll have a lot of confirmation from Nintendo regarding the Switch in the next couple of days as the company prepares to announce details, with this likely including the console’s price and launch line up.

From the heady days of the Mega Drive up until the modern day gaming has been my main hobby. I'll give almost any game a go.

  1. I’m getting quite excited for Friday, probably because I might make my first console preorder ever! Fingers crossed Nintendo put on a good show.

  2. Fight Stick is the only interesting bit in that lot – but it looks a bit unwieldly to clip that onto the side of the tablet… ;)

    • Don’t be silly! It’s clips onto the bottom.

      • Should lead to a few cheeky games on the commute..

  3. oooooh a bag
