A point that I all too easily glossed over for several months, Torment: Tides of Numenera isn’t just coming to PC, but is also out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 28th February. Today, Techland Publishing and inXile Entertainment have announced that the game has gone gold, and have released the following narrated interactive trailer to celebrate that fact and give you a taste of the kinds of narrative led quests you can experience in the final game.

Tides of Numenera is a spiritual successor Planescape: Torment, which released at the tale end of last millennium to critical acclaim for its deep and involved story telling. Just as then, the focus is more on the story than RPG combat, as you explore the science-fantasy setting of Numenera, which takes place on Earth one billion years into the future.
