Well going by January’s PS Store chart that is the case as ARK: Survival Evolved topped the table for a second time, holding off a load of games that were on sale. Resident Evil VII debuted in 10th, though it was only on sale for one week of January. On PSVR Batman: Arkham VR topped the table, while on Vita Persona 4 Golden held on to first. From the heady days of the Mega Drive up until the modern day gaming has been my main hobby. I'll give almost any game a go.

  1. Why is ark so popular? It’s a turd.

    • Because people have different opinions to you. :D

  2. Was Robinson on sale for PSVR? its £54!

    • Hang on, I need to make a cuppa.

*makes cuppa, sprays it all over laptop*

£54!? I know the store is a rip off most times but £54!? When did games get this expensive!?

    • Yes I believe it went for £35 in January Sale!

  3. It’s not surprising RE7 isn’t the top digital game as I think, there is still a long way to go before digital versions outsell their physical counterparts due to pricing. Ark, isn’t it that early access game that tried to do DLC whilst in development?

    • It is, fella. They were in huge financial trouble and needed to do something.

      • They could and should have done something else then attempt to release DLC for a game that’s still in development(at the time). Capcom gets torn apart all the time for their DLC stuff and they must have known that by even attempting it, it would do more harm then good.

That and could set a very dangerous precedent where we are flogged DLC before we even get the release date.

    • RE7 also wasn’t available for the first 23 days of the month, so probably has a lot to do with it as well. Agree with your point tho, I still don’t get why people buy from the PS Store with those prices..

    • I think most people see it as a one play and trade-in kinda game.

  4. Anyone here playing Ark on PS4? How is it? Very few reviews available as it’s still early access and i’m afraid to watch anyone streaming as i know i’ll probably go and buy it – even though i don’t have time to play it!

  5. We need a Dino Crisis REmake.
