Sniper Elite 4 is out next week, launching on 14th February – V-Day, if you will – and so there’s a gruffly voiced, explosive new launch trailer.
Beyond that, Rebellion have also opened up about the game’s season pass and what you’ll get for your £29.99/€34.99/$34.99.
For starters, there’s all of the pre-order content, with the Target: Fürher mission that was announced a while back and the camouflage rifle skin pack, but further down the line there will be a new three chapter campaign that lead Karl out of Italy, each mission of which will be accompanied by three new weapons, eight new skins and two new characters. Separately there’s to be three more weapon packs and three more characters to be used in co-op and multiplayer.
As was previously announced, any new multiplayer map or mode will be made free for all the community, so as to avoid splitting the community.

To be honest, £29.99 is a fucking rip-off for a season pass, it’s not even an AAA game imo and I’ve paid far less for season passes for Fallout 4, Black Ops 3…to name just a few.
Also, if you bought the game on release and got the pre-order bonuses, you’re being short-changed by the season pass. How is that a good idea – early adopters paying full price getting a worse deal!?! I got stung on that before. They can stick this quite frankly – £10 for x1 level, x1 weapon pack and x1 character. Ridiculous.

The Fallout 4 season pass is £39.99, and the Codblops3 season pass is £34.99.
Doesn’t make 4 missions for £30 a bargain in any way though. Just cheaper than something like Fallout 4, but then Fallout 4 had a massive amount of content in the season pass.
And these things go on sale anyway.

I did say what “I’ve paid” :p
To be fair I got the Fallout 4 one for £19.99 before it was increased, and believe I got the Blops 3 one discounted too.
It’s mainly the pre-order thing that winds me up. Either way I think it’s expensive so won’t bother. Also, in Sniper Elite 3 all 3 DLC levels were better than the main game levels, so you do have to question whether they are cut and sold separately as they are the most “attractive” levels and easiest to sell individually.

My checklist:
– Expensive and pointless digital Pre-order = Wait
– Expensive season pass = Wait
– Multiplayer or Coop? = Wait
– Reviews only after release date = Wait
I enjoyed the previous title in the series and the previews of this one looked great but I am going to wait. Too many mistakes recently.

Reviews are not after release date.

And the DLCs just keep on coming!
Can’t wait for Mass Effect as this game will NOT have a Season Pass!
In other news looking forward to Sniper Elite 4 enjoyed the previous with Singleplayer, Co op and Multiplayer.

Not having a season pass doesn’t mean not going to have loads of DLC. It just means you have to buy it all separately and end up paying more. Or less if only 1 of them interests you, I guess.
