It’s out of the frying pan and, 28 years later, into the fire for the crew of the Spirit of Fire. Their lonely battered, seriously outdated ship is the only one positioned to go toe to toe with the Banished, but as they wake up from cryogenic slumber, they think they’re still at war with the Covenant.
How have Creative Assembly done with this console RTS sequel? Well, our review isn’t quite ready for the lifting of Halo Wars 2’s embargo this morning, but we will have it live as soon as possible. In the meantime, here’s the third main mission from the story campaign – don’t worry, there’s no major spoilers here – and a few thoughts about how it’s turned out. Long story short, it’s pretty good!

My pre-order unlocks tomorrow, looking forward to it immensely. Video is appreciated, but I didn’t watch past the first impressions as I’d rather savour the game until tomorrow.
