One of the best games for Wii U, Splatoon showed that Nintendo were still more than willing to experiment and create new game series, when the timing was right. There wasn’t really any doubt that they would follow up on their popular paint splattering shooter on the Nintendo Switch, and Splatoon 2 was announced back in January. We definitely enjoyed what we saw of the game, as a solid feeling sequel.
Though it’s loosely slated for a release in the summer, Nintendo are hosting another Global Testfire for the game next weekend, but you can now grab the Testfire ahead of time. It’s not vital, weighing in at just 408MB to download, but if you’re really eager, you can get the demo and have it downloaded either by visiting the eShop on your Switch or heading over to the game’s page on Nintendo’s website.
There’s only a handful of windows in which you can play and sample the game, with Nintendo looking to focus the community into short hour long sessions. Those are as follows:
