Whatever kerfuffle is going on between IO and Square Enix it’s not stopping the developer from announcing a new update for the game and a bunch of new contracts. On June 2nd (yes, today) two new Escalation Contracts will be released, one in Sapienza (Landslide) and another in Bangkok.
- The Spaggiari Subversion is the first Escalation Contract on the ‘Landslide’ Bonus Mission and challenges you with 5 different stages. Expect three different targets, some weapon and disguise restrictions and a few other surprises.
- The Asya Attunement is the fourth Escalation Contract to be added for Bangkok and the five stages include complications involving shotguns, laser tripwires, exterminators, enforcers and kill streaks.
June will also see a game update, ten new featured contracts, and the penultimate Elusive Target.

And with that, i guess i will wait another year because well, it doesn’t suit Hitman imo. Granted, the concept does lend itself well to episodic content but the games seem to work best as proper full ones. It will be interesting to see what happens with this and IO though.
