Bethesda has thrown down the gauntlet early in its E3 conference when it comes to the VR space, revealing both DOOM VFR and Fallout 4 VR. Doom VFR has been confirmed for PSVR and Vive, while Fallout 4 has been confirmed for HTC Vive only. When it comes to Doom it looks like a VR experience where you move through teleportation and shoot at demons, while Fallout 4 VR is the entire game playable in VR with free motion.

Maybe FO4 on PSVR at Sonys show…? Possibly the first thing to only run on PS4 Pro rather than both systems…? It’d make me buy one

Quite odd that Fallout 4 is not on PSVR. You’re right, that could be saved for Sony’s conference.

I don’t think the base model has enough humph to run it, but if Sony could get it working somehow I think to be a real PSVR seller – perhaps the next killer app (after RE7) they need

Odd given the that PSVR sales eclipse all other VR systems

HTC are paying for Fallout, hence it’s exclusive.

This is Bethesda.
They don’t know the meaning of optimisation. Esoecially when it comes to Playstation platforms.
I would be beyond shocked to see this running in VR on Playstation.

Hopefully FO4VR is just a timed exclusive on Vive because yet another limited VR experience like Doom is not going to tempt to buy a PSVR.

Quite surprised about the Vive exclusivity thing, its always prided itself on being an open platform, so I would expect FO4VR will also work on Oculus headsets, and will come to PSVR at some point in the future..
