After last week’s approval for release, Chucklefish Games have announced that Stardew Valley will be coming out for Nintendo Switch on Thursday, 5th October. It will be priced at $14.99 and your local equivalent, which should work out to £13.49 in the UK.
Update: It’s £10.99 and €13.99, in a surprising use of actual exchange rates for regional pricing!
Stardew is £10.99 in the UK Switch store for those who were asking.

Eric Barone also extended his thanks to those that helped make this happen, writing, “I would like to give a big shout out to Sickhead Games, who worked very hard to develop this port. They did a great job, as always, and deserve all the credit! I’d also like to thank my publisher Chucklefish for coordinating everything.”
However, this is hardly the end of the road for Stardew, with work on the multiplayer continuing, which is set to enter beta on PC later this year before being brought to consoles next year, with the Switch getting to enjoy this before other machines.
