Bungie originally announced that Destiny 2 would be offline today but have moved the maintenance window to tomorrow, Friday 1st December, so the game will be available tonight. The times remain unchanged.
The shut down will begin at 8:00 AM Pacific Time on Friday, which is 4.00 PM for those of us in the UK. At that time if you are still playing, you will have an hour to finish your activities. If you are not playing you won’t be able to log in.
An hour later at 9.00 AM Pacific time, 5.00 PM UK time, anyone still playing will be kicked off the game and no one will be able to play at all. The downtime will finish at 2.00 PM Pacfic Time, 10.00 PM for everyone in UK.
In short, you wont be able to play Destiny 2 tomorrow evening.
Bungie state that “No gameplay content or updates will be introduced with this maintenance period,” so they are probably preparing for the first DLC drop which will be landed next week.

Normally this would annoy me as this is my day off, but I’ve just got Battlefield 1 during Black Friday to sink my teeth into!

Sure, why not, as a seasoned d1 player I hardly play anyway nor does anyone else in my clan. As always the chosen timeframe is rather brilliant. Locking out the entire uk and Europe for a full evening. ??
Guess they are not worried about losing more players.

I started playing the trial last night, was looking forward to trying more out tonight. Gutter.
Seriously considering getting this though, are clans a must or can I just kind of drop in/drop out with randoms I find?
