Almost two years ago to the day Insurgency: Sandstorm was announced for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with Focus Home Interactive being thee force behind it. At E3 2017 a trailer was released that focused a lot on the story though not a lot was given away. Today another trailer for Insurgency: Sandstorm was unveiled and this one shows snippets of gameplay.
More details about the multiplayer were announced too. We already know the campaign can be played cooperatively with four players online or two player split screen. In terms of competitive multiplayer matches will have battles between two teams of 16 on large maps that include exterior and interior areas. There will be vehicles to use, artillery to call in, gunships that can bring destruction from above, air strikes, and drones. You can also tackle the competitive maps cooperatively against bots.
