Weappy and THQ Nordic have announced This Is The Police 2, a sequel to the mildly interesting police management sim that released last year. In the first game players took on the role of Police Chief Jack Boyd in his last six months on the job where he attempted to raise half a million dollars for himself through any means necessary. Going by the trailer below it seems retirement isn’t going to plan for Boyd as he seems to be using a false identity to get by.
According to the description there will be a lot more depth to This Is The Police 2 as you take control of the department in the town of Sharpwood. Instead of just assigning officers to cases players will have more participation in each incident as it goes down, with the officers themselves having their own fears to worry about and strengths to use.
This Is The Police 2 will be out later this year for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.
