It’s sale time on the PlayStation Store, but there again, when is not sale time on the PlayStation Store? They truly are the Sports Direct of the gaming world. Anyway, this week you can pick a load of games less than the price of a pint of beer in London, or if you up north, less that the price of a three bed semi with a large garden.

There’s also a sale on for EA games and offers on GTAV. Expand the sections below to check out what is on offer.

  1. 75% off Surgeon Simulator for PSVR? Done!

    • Everything I’ve read about that says it’s a bit of a mess with dodgy controls and tracking.

Which is at least part of the fun of the original game, I guess. But the VR version may be a bit more broken than was intended.

      • I should probably know better as i had difficulty with the standard version but i’m willing to risk it for five yoyos.

  2. Those Battlefield deals seem good, if you’re missing 1 or more of the 3 games. But that “Anniversary Bundle” is a ridiculous size. 176.75GB for the 3 games? For just £25.

And the Dragon Age Inquisition DLC is tempting me. But do I pay £6.49, or an extra £1.75 for the GOTY edition of the game and not have to worry about putting a disc in the PS4?

And The Sims 4 almost tempted me. Until I realised the £29 bundle is just the DLC and doesn’t include the game which would be another £20. Which is a silly price for a port of a 3 year old game that probably should have included all the DLC to start with. No matter how much fun I can have torturing Sims. (Which, admittedly, is “a lot”)

Let’s just ignore the PSN sales for a couple of months though. My backlog hates me already, and the PS+ games aren’t helping this month.
