Vive Studios Have Published Knockout League For All Three Major VR Platforms

In an interesting move, Vive Studios are sharing the love with their latest game, releasing Grab Games’ arcade boxing game Knockout League to PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift in addition to their own HTC Vive system.

The game is out now – only in the US for PlayStation VR a moment, though – getting you to step into a virtual boxing ring and face off against a string of nine AI competitors. This is all about single player, defeating these increasingly more difficult and weird opponents, like a boxing squid. There’s also a calorie counter mode, though I’m not a fan of the idea of working up too much of a sweat in VR.

Either way, it’s a good move from Vive, who recognise that having too many walls between the systems can hurt the adoption of VR in general.

  1. Good move, not my kind of game but each VR platform needs as much choice as is possible.
Now if only Oculus/Ready At Dawn would announce the same for Lone Echo .. ;)

  2. Reminds me of a modern version of that Dreamcast boxing game I’m currently too drunk to remember. Rumble kings?
