The Yakuza 6 PS4 Demo Is Now Live, But It’s Huge

Sega’s Yakuza 6 demo went live on the PlayStation Store yesterday, with the full game recently being delayed from March 20th to April 17th in the west.  The demo allows you to play the prologue and if you decide to purchase the full game then your progress will be saved.

However, the demo is huge, 36GB in fact, making it bigger than some full PS4 games, so you may need to clear up some hard drive space before you download. If you want to go ahead, then you can find the demo here.

The listing on the PlayStation store states that “PlayStation®VR is compatible with this product”, along with the PS Camera, Move, and the Move navigation controller, so probably a screw up in the listing.

  1. Wow 36gb for a demo. I’ve not played a yakuza game yet. I guess I’ll wait a little longer.

  2. That’s huge but i’ve got some space and it’s my day off so i’ll give it a go, thanks for the heads-up.
