Yakuza Kiwami 2 Will Be Released August 28th In The West

SEGA has confirmed that Yakuza Kiwami 2 is heading westwards with the game set to release on August 28th for PS4.  Yakuza Kiwami 2 was initially released in Japan in December 2017. To mark the announcement a new trailer was released which shows scenes running in the Dragon engine, which is the same engine being used for Yakuza 6. The trailer is mainly shots of cutscenes and not any gameplay.

There will be two editions available with one being standard and the other being a steelbook version. There’s no additional in game content in the latter. In terms of new content there will be an additional story line featuring Majima which explores the time between the end of Yakuza and the beginning of Yakuza 2.

  1. Loving the Yakuza Renaissance at the moment!
I just hope having so many games in close succession doesn’t lead to fatigue because it’s a cool series that deserves success.

  2. Think I need to start this series. Heard so many good things.
