Day After Tomorrow-esque PC city sim Frostpunk is heading to consoles and may be released before the end of the year. Dualshockers spoke to 11 Bit Studios Senior Marketing Manager Karol Zajaczkowski who confirmed they are “working on the console version at the moment.”
As a PC game the title has been built to be played with a keyboard and mouse and mapping that functionality to controller has been the downfall of many a strategy game. 11 Bit are aware of this and Zajaczkowski stated that they want to “make 100% sure that when you play Frostpunk on consoles that you are struggling with the challenges from the game and not the challenges coming from the controller.”
The game will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One, a Switch version is uncertain at present.
